OUR TEAM

Pastor

Chad and Christy have been married since 2008 and have three sons: Grayson, Bowen, and Miller. They met during high school at their local church in Durham, NC and have lived in Durham, NC, India, and Clemson, SC. Christy is a stay-at-home mom and disciple-maker. In 2013, Chad began serving at Crosspoint Church in Clemson, SC as a Generation Link Pastoral Resident and transitioned to Director of Missions in 2014. Chad earned a B.S. in Communication from Appalachian State University and an M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest. Chad and Christy have a great desire to see disciples made and the nations reached.

Women’s Discipleship Coordinator

Before serving with King's Church, Jordan served three years at Crosspoint Church in Clemson, SC as a GenerationLINK resident working in kids ministry and college ministry at Clemson University. As a resident at Crosspoint, Jordan had the opportunity to lead a SummerLINK trip to Charlotte alongside Chris who would be her husband just two years later. Chris is a graphic designer at UNC Charlotte for the college of business. Jordan holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Southern Wesleyan University and an M.A. in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is thankful for the privilege to serve as the Women's Discipleship Coordinator. She has a passion to disciple and provide leadership among women and see them grow in the likeness of Christ.

GenerationLINK Resident

Katherine moved to Charlotte in May 2021 after earning her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University and marrying Caleb Wilson. Katherine joined King’s Church as a faithful member and worked full time as an Inside Sales Engineer for an equipment company. She had a growing desire to pursue full time ministry and in January 2023 she transitioned to become a Generation LINK resident at King’s Church. Katherine is currently enrolled in classes at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing Biblical Counseling. Through evangelism on the college campus and building intentional relationships, Katherine desires to see students come glorify the Lord and encourage them to live on mission daily. 

Lay Pastor

Eric and Mary met through collegiate ministry at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, and married in 2018. Mary works in human resources and opens the home to pursue others intentionally. After earning a B.S. in Business Administration from Winthrop in 2017, Eric served as a Generation LINK resident at Winthrop BCM while taking classes at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary remotely and serving as a Worship Leader at Northside Baptist Church. Eric and Mary moved to Charlotte in January 2020 and became part of the core group at King’s Church. Eric now works full-time in sales to serve King’s Church as a lay pastor. Eric and Mary’s desire is to see the nations reached through faithful discipleship in the local church.

Lay Pastor

Caleb and Katherine grew up in Columbia, SC and met through their hometown church. They got married in May of 2021 and have been working in Charlotte and serving at Kings Church together. Caleb received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Mississippi State and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson where he and Katherine got connected with Crosspoint Church. After graduation, Caleb moved to Charlotte to be a part of Kings Church and currently works with Collins Aerospace. In September of 2022, he was commissioned as a lay pastor for Kings Church and desires to serve in collegiate ministry, equip disciples, and evangelize the lost in Charlotte and around the world.
