Residency
The King’s Church Residency exists to equip the next generation of leaders to multiply disciples, leaders, and churches for King Jesus. The Residency is one means through which King’s Church may intentionally develop and form leaders who will advance God’s Kingdom as they continue laboring wherever God calls them.
We currently have two paths for our residency
Introductory Residency
The Introductory Residency at King’s Church is an exploratory experience designed to equip the resident as a leader and help the resident discern how best to leverage their lives for the kingdom. Ideal candidates for this residency wish to learn more about ministry within the local church, gain theological and vocational clarity, and grow in their disciple-making and leadership capabilities. By the end of the Introductory Residency, King’s Church intends to send out the resident as a healthy, equipped, responsible leader, capable of multiplying disciples in their discerned vocational calling.
Pastoral Residency
The Pastoral Residency at King’s Church is a practical-training experience designed to equip the potential pastor as a biblically qualified man capable of shepherding, teaching, and leading in the local church. Ideal candidates for this residency possess a godly aspiration towards pastoral ministry and a rudimentary understanding of ministry within the local church. By the end of the Pastoral Residency, King’s Church intends to send out the resident as a healthy, equipped, responsible leader, capable of multiplying disciples, leaders and churches in their next ministry assignment.
